Kundalini Aquarian Sadhana

For the dedicated yogis, as we know, our strength as teacher's is only as strong as our sadhana.

For those new to yoga, sadhana is our spiritual practice, where we wake in the early morning to move our body with devotion, and in the case of the Aquarian Sadhana, also chant and sing. It is a time where we can come to our mat and free ourselves of all concerns, connect-in, and reach a space of clarity, fully charged and ready for our day.

For me personally, sadhana is where I receive beautiful messages of guidance as my breath sweeps away all that blocks my vision, and my body is challenged in surrender to the energetic heart, where all that exists in the mind is placed down, unguarded, and peace flows with softness.

Our format for the Aquarian Sadhana is as follows:

4:00-4:30am Reciting of Japji Sahib

4:30-5:20am Tune in and Kundalini yoga practice with relaxation

5:20-6:30am Aquarian Mantras and closing

This sadhana practice is a little different from the usual Kundalini yoga class, in the reverence that is held for scripture, as well as no talking other than chanting and yoga practice instruction. It is very important that we allow the space for ourselves to experience this sadhana in the way it was designed - for the Aquarian Age.

With love and blessings, Sita Ajeet.
